Find out how your brain is doing today.

Seven quick challenges for memory, focus and speed: the same kinds of tests clinicians use. See your results the moment you finish, and get a free check-in in 3 months to see what's changed.

No account. No app. Just a link and 30 minutes.

Why take it?

Most people never measure how they think until something feels off. By then there's nothing to compare it to.

  1. 1

    Your own results

See how you did on memory, attention and speed as soon as you finish. Keep them, print them, come back to them.

  2. 2

    A starting line

A snapshot of you, today. Useful the next time you wonder whether stress, sleep, a knock to the head or just getting older is changing anything.

  3. 3

    A free 3-month rematch

We'll invite you back for a free retest with new words and shapes, so you can see your own trend.

  4. 4

    Better science

Your results, with no name attached, help build reference data so people can see how they compare with others their age.

Seven quick challenges

Each one starts with a practice round, so you'll always know what to do.

Verbal Memory Test

Study 15 words, then spot them in a crowd. Later, a surprise round checks what stuck.

Visual Memory Test

The same idea with abstract shapes. Harder than it sounds.

Finger Tapping Test

Tap as fast as you can for 10 seconds. Pure speed.

Symbol-Digit Substitution Test

Crack the code: match symbols to numbers as quickly as you can.

Stroop Color-Word Test

The word says BLUE, the ink is red. Your brain will argue with itself.

Task-Switching Test

Match by shape, then by color, then shape again. Keep up when the rules change.

Continuous Performance Test

Letters fly by. Respond to the right ones, hold back on the rest. A real focus workout.

Get the most out of it

  • Find a quiet spot and about 30 minutes to finish in one go.
  • Any phone, tablet or computer works. On a computer you'll use the space bar.
  • Silence notifications. Your focus is the thing being measured.
  • Just do your best. There are no trick questions, and nobody fails.

The small print (please read)

What this is. A research study by Baseline Cognitive to learn how healthy adults of different ages do on these tests. Your results, with no name or email attached, are combined with other people's to build that reference data. It may be published and is used in Baseline's product.

What we keep. Your first name and email, only to send your results and your 3-month retest. At the start we ask your date of birth, sex, writing hand and education, plus a few short health and mood questions.

What it isn't. A medical test. It doesn't diagnose anything, and your results aren't shared with any doctor.

Your choice. Taking part is voluntary and you can stop at any time. To withdraw or delete your data later, just reply to any of our emails.

If you're struggling. Some questions ask about mood. You can call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) any time.
